Description
Note: Due to the recent trick of spammers joining Yahoo groups to post junk and imply the junk came from the Yahoo group, this group now requires Moderator approval to join in order to prevent such jerks from from annoying real members. Please be sure to include some sort of relevant comment when applying for membership or else you will be denied. I regret having to take such a hard line but I'm sure I'm not the only one that gets too much spam as it is and I hope you will understand. Thank you!
Volunteer Photographers Wanted!!
This group is for people to request cemetery photos of graves in and around the Chicago, Illinois area. You should already have the specific grave location within the cemetery before placing your request. Many cemeteries will not tell the volunteer this information and some require a fee so it is the responsibility of the requestor to obtain this information ahead of time. General surname requests cannot be accepted for this reason as well.
Volunteer Photographers are also encouraged to discuss the process here.
We maintain a contact information list of local cemeteries in the database section. If you have contact information for a cemetery not on the list, please post a message to group and we will add it.
NOTE: SPAM will NOT be tolerated!
Spammers will be buried in unmarked graves and no one will take a photo of it.
