Tribals struggle for pilot-training programme
Ranchi, January 29 (ANI): Thirty tribal students from Ranchi city of
Jharkhand, who were selected for the aviation course training in a
special drive three years back, still struggle to finish their course,
as the institute has failed to provide them training. A group of 30
students from the state belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe,
and other backward classes was selected from the state by the Tribal
welfare department in the year 2009 and was sent to Bilaspur city in
Chhattisgarh in order to pursue a pilot-training programme.But after
completing three years of the course, the students feel as if they
have been deceived.
