Description

The Chess Engines Mailing List is a mutual support group for developers of chess-playing programs (engines). The emphasis is on engines that use the xboard/WinBoard protocol to connect to their user interfaces, but discussion of other topics related to chess engines and protocols is also acceptable. This list is primarily for programmers, not engine users and collectors. It is intended to be low-traffic, and is partially moderated to block spam and offtopic posts.

If you are looking for a group for xboard/WinBoard users and chess engine collectors, try the WinBoard Forum instead. If you want to talk specifically about Crafty, try the Crafty mailing list. For general discussion on computer chess, try the Computer Chess Club

Re: Test game to disambiguate moves?
That's right. I was looking for an artificial game specifically constructed to exercise SAN output.
