WELCOME TO THE CHERRYLAND AMATEUR RADIO CLUB - TRAVERSE CITY - MICHIGAN

The Cherryland ARC meets on the Fourth Tuesday of each month in the lower level of the Governmental center on the corner of 8th and Boardman Streets.

Meetings begin at 7:00 PM.

The Cherryland ARC owns and or operates some Northwest Michigan repeaters.

The 146.860 W8SGR/R [ R.A.C.E.S.] Repeater, located at TV-7&4 studio and tower site just West of Traverse City. Please join the Monday Evening Social Hour the MESH NET on this repeater every Monday evening at 8:00 PM local time.

The 147.380 K8WQK CARC REPEATER located just Northwest of Traverse City.

The 147.100 K8HIB/R [ECHOLINK]-[ R.A.C.E.S.] the English Woods Repeater located on the water tower in English Woods Subdivision just East of Traverse City in East Bay Township. EchoLink has been added to this repeater. Please use proper EchoLink operating rules. The EchoLink ID is W8LDR-R the node ID is 324840.

The 442.500 W8SRG/R [ R.A.C.E.S.] The W8NGH Memorial Repeater. This 440 Mhz repeater is also located on the TV-7&4 tower site just west of Traverse City on top of Morgan Hill.

Membership dues are $12.00 per year and the Autopatch fee is also $12.00. You must be a club member to be a autopatch member. There are special dues exceptions for family members and K-12 full time Students.

We also invite you to join the Sunday Morning Amateur Social Hour the SMASH NET on 75 Meters at 3935 Khz. every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM local time.

My only experience is that occasionally the weather people will get on the 86 repeater and solicit comments from whoever is on. Of course you can always call
