We are a support group for Christian families in Jackson County West Virginia and the surrounding area who have chosen to homeschool their children. Christian Home Educators of Jackson County West Virginia has been a ministering group in the area since September of 1997. This is a support group where members work together to encourage one another in the education of their children as God directs. This support is manifested through sharing of information such as pros and cons of curriculum, happenings at the state capital that affects homeschoolers (we are in affiliation with Christian Home Educators of West Virginia), cooperative learning opportunities, field trips, regular family fellowship opportunities, monthly meetings, mom's support activities, resource list, and much more. Membership in this group (as far as being involved in CHEJC activities such as testing, graduation ceremonies, and Showcase) involves signing a Biblical statement of faith and a membership of $10 used to buy basic paper supplies and bless back the facility that houses the majority of our activities along with other basic obligations. Membership in our group entitles families a $5 discount on membership with the state level group.
