This is the group for the new Châtelaine Christmas Mystery during 2012.

This MYSTERY will start on DECEMBER 24th 2011 and be online for ONE YEAR in 12 PARTS.

As it is a Mystery you will not see here any picture until at least half of the year is done. A bit of info here now too: Not a picturebook Christmas theme with Santa etc., this design features a gentle Irish Angel in Art Nouveau style with beautiful wings, dressed in green gowns with sparkling wings, floating above the moon’s beaded + crystallized crescent. Stars surround him + an Irish Blessing will be stitched “over one”.

Alternatively a bible verse will be provided.

A decorative brocade-like border with celtic motivies will frame this serene picture with Celtic Elements, Irish Colors and features.

This angel will be a companion piece for the 2011 Christmas Angel – and face the opposite direction, so both can be a decorative pair at the wall..

Not explicitely for Christmas, this is truly a theme which is valid throughout the entire year...

The color scheme will incorporate “night colors” and “moon colors”, greens in different shades. The design will be looking best on any sort of night-colored background but can as well be excecuted on white or light fabricis

We will use DMC and silk threads, metallics and beads as well as Swarovski Sparklies to create this opulent work through the 12 months, starting on January 1st.
