CHA*OS-Stars has been created for discussion of astrology and other disciplines as they relate to astrology, including psychology, philosophy, the sciences, arts, politics. Discussions include daily application of astrology and psychology to life events, including political, scientific, social, and personal. Topics may include political events, family dynamics and other relationships, finances, career directions, sexuality, and philosophical world views. Connections between astrology and psychology are considered as they both offer insight into childhood experience, physical and emotional cycles, attitudes toward finances, love, and career choices, among other topics. The capacity for personal and collective growth and transformation through insight and understanding gained from these fields is explored in an intense and friendly forum.

Cha*os was founded the day Uranus moved into Aquarius in 1995, with the Moon exalted at 0 degrees of Taurus, and Uranus in its own sign at 0 degrees of Aquarius. Cha*os is the oldest existing astrological discussion list. We have achieved this longevity by maintaining a courteous professional atmosphere open to all approaches to astrology. We do not edit posts. That said, we do not allow personal attacks, though lively challenges to each other's points of view are welcomed.

Astrology is a profoundly important source of deep knowledge and foreknowledge about the cycles of life and events as they play out in our personal and collective lives, providing insight which allows us to move beyond being playthings of mere fate to creative participants in the unfolding of the universe.
