Hey Tigers,

Can you believe it? Another school year is coming to an end!
So this time next year we will all be getting together for our 20th!

Anyway… We opened the Yahoo group and started the "CHS Class of 89" on
MySpace to keep people connected and informed. We have 55 people on
Yahoo and 26 on MySpace.

With only a year till our 20-year reunion we want to reach as many
people as possible.
So if you would, pass this information on to anyone you can. We will be
sending out info and asking for help with planning.

Another inportant subject to consider is if we want a Friday Mixer
and a Sunday Family Picnic this time around.

If we do, all three locations will have to be relatively close to
accomidate those coming from out of the area and staying in a hotel.

That will determine where. The when should be fairly simple.

I'm definately going to have to agree. The 80's were some of the best years of my life. The music rocked, Michael Jackson was actually cool back then, and at the time...the styles were hip. Not like these sagging jeans teens we see today. Just look back at some old yearbooks and collect some ideas. I'm sure we can piece something together. ;- )

(PST) Hi! I love the 80's idea and
July would be ok,
although I think the end of June would be better for
me personally. I don't know about the whole Laughlin
thing though! I'll be flying in from Georgia and it
would be really great if I could visit my family too!
Maybe I could
fly in to the Laughlin area and "hitch"
a ride to Ontario! Just kidding!! Laughlin is always
fun, but
from someone who doesn't live in Cali anymore it's
always fun to go home and see the sights! hmmmmmm....

something to consider. As far as themes go, since we

You know you always have a ride home
with me ;) Then I can hold you hostage until I see a
certain "cook's" book... no really, you could fly into
Ontario and we'll drive to Laughlin together.

Okay... I have to agree with Roni... 80's music was awesome, still
is! And yes, some, if not most, of the clothing styles blew!! But a
few of them did make it back in style, with a few alterations here
and there. I think the 80's theme is a great idea!!

80's were lame???!!! No way! My 16 year old daughter thinks the 80's we're the best. Leg warmers, flash dance tees, big ear rings and polka dots.... ok forget the parachute pants but the music was awesome.

(PST) Hi! I love the 80's idea and
July would be ok,
although I think the end of June would be better for
me personally. I don't know about the whole Laughlin
thing though! I'll be flying in from Georgia and it
would be really great if I could visit my family too!
Maybe I could
fly in to the Laughlin area and "hitch"
a ride to Ontario! Just kidding!! Laughlin is always
fun, but
from someone who doesn't live in Cali anymore it's
always fun to go home and see the sights! hmmmmmm....

something to consider. As far as themes go, since we

You know you always have a ride home
with me ;) Then I can hold you hostage until I see a
certain "cook's" book... no really, you could fly into
Ontario and we'll drive to Laughlin together.

I don't think it matters where the location is. Most
people live away now, so either way most will have to
travel. 80's theme alright, but the 80's were very
lame! Where can we buy parachute pants and members
only jackets?

(PST) Hi! I love the 80's idea and
July would be ok,
although I think the end of June would be better for
me personally. I don't know about the whole Laughlin
thing though! I'll be flying in from Georgia and it
would be really great if I could visit my family too!
Maybe I could
fly in to the Laughlin area and "hitch"
a ride to Ontario! Just kidding!! Laughlin is always
fun, but
from someone who doesn't live in Cali anymore it's
always fun to go home and see the sights! hmmmmmm....

I will be in
the next state over, so either way I will have to
drive. Not sure if
June or July would be better, WRT peoples kids being
in school. Just
something to consider. As far as themes go, since we
graduated in
the 80s, why not have an 80s theme. Molly Ringwald,
the Breakfast
Club, Milli Vanilli, etc. WOW...I can't believe I
remember those
things. LOL.

You know you always have a ride home
with me ;) Then I can hold you hostage until I see a
certain "cook's" book... no really, you could fly into
Ontario and we'll drive to Laughlin together.
