Receive the latest updates on events and activities at the Carolinas Aviation Museum in Charlotte, NC. It is used to get the news out to members and non-members fast.
Founded in 1992, the museum offers a collection of over 50 major aircraft(including an A-26, F-14D, Harrier), and a wealth of smaller historic items related to aviation in the North & South Carolina. The museum also operates a small group of flying historic aircraft, such as the Piedmont Airlines' DC-3, and two Grumman OV-1D Mohawks, which attend air shows along the east coast.
With runway access, many other historic aircraft, such as B-17s, B-24s, the B-29 and the Berlin Airlift C-54 all fly in and visit the museum from time to time and are open to the public.
