Cape Fear Metal Clay Artists is a totally new group in the Fayetteville, NC area. We are also known as the Fayetteville, NC Chapter of the PMC Guild.

We welcome committed, interested precious metal clay enthusiasts of all skill levels to our monthly meetings for show-n-tells, demos and hands on clay play activities.

The group's purpose is to provide fun opportunities for our members, while educating them in the possibilities of precious metal clay as an artistic medium. We hope to achieve this goal by providing outreach to the public through workshops, demonstrations, and meetings. Each member is encouraged to mentor, support and inspire each other.

Meetings are currently being held the third Wednesday of every other month. Our next meeting is scheduled for August 20, 2008 from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm. This meeting is being hosted by fellow member Wendy Marsh, with refreshments being donated by Jennifer Grocer. Connie Bennett and Sara Matherly will talk on the health/safety aspects of working with the metal clays and go over some of the basics of using these products.
