The Central Florida Free-mo Yahoo! group is for members of our informal group as well as interested Free-mo modelers from other parts of the world. Free-mo is a set of standards governing the creation and connection of HO scale modules to build a model railroad with a focus on operation, not display.

Our next meet up will be in Homosassa at the Walden Woods Community Center on Saturday, April 16, 2011. Setup will be at noon and we'll be able to work until 4:00. Gloria has posted directions -- contact her for specific information including address if you want to GPS/Google the location.

The group met in Ocala at the Ocala Model Railroaders clubhouse on Sunday, February 6 from 10:00 to 2:00. Several new modules were displayed by Gloria, Diane and Carmen. See the photos section.

Our first meet-up was December 4, 2010 at Harmony High School in St. Cloud, FL. We set up modules and learned about soldering, track laying, creating scenery, and got to know each other. In all, we had about 9 people in attendance with five modules ranging from Brian's nearly finished to Steven's trackless wonder. See photos from the event.
