Purpose:

To provide a place for Christian Fantasy Writers to discuss the works of fantasy by such authors as:

C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, George MacDonald, Madeleine L'Engle, Charles Williams, Stephen Lawhead, J.K. Rowling, Lewis Carroll, Frank Peretti, Fred Saberhagen, David Gemmell, Nathan D. Wilson, G.K. Chesterton, and other Christian, as well as secular Fantasy authors.

We will also explore Mythology and Folklore as they relate to writing Fantasy. And note that discussion about Science Fiction, especially Star Wars and Star Trek, are welcome on the list.

You are welcome to post and discuss your own stories, keep in mind this is a Christian group, (note that fan fiction can only be posted with off site links, and not in the body of emails or in our files section).

This is a list that accepts the use of magic in a Fantasy setting. If you cannot accept the use of magic in a fantasy story setting--this list is definitely not for you!
