First and foremost, Central States Heathens (henceforth known as CSH) is an e-group specifically for those who follow the belief system of the Traditional Northern European Folk, commonly called ASATRU. Secondly, CSH is a REGIONAL e-group. We firmly believe that our success has come from encouraging local events that are readily accessible to our membership. CSH started out with the limited focus of Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Colorado. As more and more people applied for memberships who were outside the limited focus, it didn’t take long for CSH to see the need for expanding her borders. Now, CSH has taken the swath out of the central portion of the U.S.; that is, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Minnesota, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana. Ohio and Michigan. Additionally, we make every effort not to violate the territories of other regional groups that surround us. We may, on occasion, for one reason or another, take in members from outside our region, but we generally don't make a habit of it. This is done at the owner's and moderators discretion. Anyone who applies outside our region may be directed to an appropriate e-group.

All areas of Heathenry are open for discussion. Any announcements involving your Kindred or group are encouraged. We don’t operate under any great deal of rules. What we DO ask, however, is that discussions are kept civil. You may or may not agree with a discussion, we only ask that you keep things palatable. Debate is welcomed. Personal attacks are not. The owner and moderators of this list operate at their own discretion to shut down any thread that may lead to tempers flaring.
