ABOVE PHOTO: The original Jack McGinley's Hotel at the NE corner of Locust Avenue and E. Main Street. It was built around 1933 and destroyed by fire on June 15, 1935. It was quickly rebuilt and in the mid-50's taken over by Charles and Nick Kowalchick, and in the late 60's by Sandy Lupotsky. It was damaged by fire in the '70s again and finally torn down. This pic is currently for sale on ebay.
