I wouldn't mind seeing a version of "Catch as Catscan" from Detective
Comics #569 (Dec 1986).  The Joker used Dr. Moon to turn Bruce Wayne's
girlfriend into Catwoman.  It also ties in nicely with Catwoman's choosing the
Joker's colors (purple and green) as her own.

I would also like to see Johnny Depp play Riddler, question is will

It's one thing for fans to talk about their ideal casting, but it's

action. Julie Newmar, who played Catwoman in the Adam West-
starring "Batman" TV series, has voiced her opinion on who she'd like
to take up the whip and leather.

"Angelina [Jolie] would own the part," Newmar told the Daily
News. "My industry friends tell me [she] has made inquiries about the
role."

So the latter half of Brangelina wants in on the Bat-action? Who can
blame her—she's essentially played the role in every movie she's ever
made! A-ha! Ah! Ah... forget it.

Despite Jolie's interest, the article mentions that "Dark Knight"
writers "Jonathan Nolan and David Goyer said in a recent interview
that they are, for now, inclined not to bring back Batman's sultry
nemesis." So call Jolie a front-runner if it makes you sleep better,
but first she'll have to convince the writers and studio bigwigs that
the character has a place in the Batman threequel.

I saw that , too bad that title had been pretty decent. Did you see
that Batgirl is only a six issue mini series though, Also All-New Atom
is coming to a end with issue # 25. These books have been in the lower
tier of monthly titles for awhile though Catwoman outsells Infinity
Inc, Jonah Hex, Checkmate & Blue Beetle and they are still around.
Though I suspect that Checkmate & Infinity Inc will not be for much
longer. The other two sell well in trades so they continue to be
published (like Manhunter). Pretty soon DC wil be publishing mainly
limited Series instead of ongoing . Less commitment = potential sales.

																				 ActuallyDC publishes far more monthly ongoings than Marvel,
and sticks with thelower selling books for far longer as well. So honestly, this
surprisesme a bit.

Especially as Catwoman tends to regularly and steadily sell between 18and a half
to 20 thousand per month, and has done so for ages now.Which while it may not be
setting sales charts alight, certainly aren'tcancellation type numbers. Put it
this way, in the top three hundredcharts each month Catwoman is usually sitting
somewhere around the 100mark or so.

Actually it makes me wonder if there isn't more going on here somehow.Either
Pfeifer wants to move on (he has been writing the book without abreak for
literally years now), and instead of finding a replacementthey decided to end
the book, and will likely relaunch a new volumedown the line a bit, or else
there's some change coming up withCatwoman that necessitates taking the book off
the stands for a while.Hmmm...

Shame to see the book end anyway, it was consistently one of DC's
mostunder-rated titles, always a good read, month in, month out.

Anyone have any ideas on Sledge Hammer's speculation?

Sydney, Sep 5 (ANI): It seems that a new 'feline'
villain is set to feature in the next 'Batman' movie.

The word is that there's a possibility of Catwoman's
appearance in the third Batman sequel.

Recent reports claimed that Heath Ledger, who plays
the Joker in The Dark Knight, "could be coming back in
the next sequel which will have Two Face as the main
villain."

But an insider has revealed that a more thrilling
development, apart from the Joker's appearance, is the
identity of another villain in Batman 3.

"It could also include a certain female feline as
well," Moviehole quoted the insider, as saying.

Batman Begins, directed by Christopher Nolan and
starring Christian Bale was release in 2005.

A sequel titled The Dark Knight is commissioned for a
2008 release with both Nolan and Bale returning. (ANI)
