Descriptions of personal experiences, observations, and opinions are even
more welcome although it is not intended that this forum should provide an
opportunity to attack the Roman Catholic Church.
On the other hand it is recognized that "letting off steam" may be the first
step in resolving any personal issues regarding the RCC - please be tolerant
of other Members!
In addition, the current media emphasis is on those victims who have been abused by priests while those who have suffered at the hands of nuns have tended to be neglected. This Group will attempt to redress this imbalance.

Psychology
and The Roman Catholic Church website which can be (briefly) summarized
as an investigation into:
a) Why the characteristics of trauma can make an individual susceptible to
religious indoctrination.
b) The 'personality characteristics' of psychologically violent priests.
c) The nature of 'cover-ups', techniques used, and why they are acceptable
to those who use them.
d) Etc..
Comments on the website can be posted here and any suggestions/criticisms
regarding this forum would be welcome.
