Catholic-Exmormons seeks to provide its members with an opportunity to discuss the religious teachings of the Catholic Church. This list is specifically geared to current or former members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) who have an interest in learning more about Catholicism. The purpose of this list is to discuss theological and liturgical differences between the Roman Catholic and LDS Churches specifically, in an effort to assist those members who are considering, or are in the process of, becoming Catholic. Absolutely no attacks or disrespect will be tolerated on Catholic teachings, practices, church structure or clergy. Absolutely no proselytizing for the LDS Church or beliefs, or for any other religious denomination or group outside the Catholic Church, will be permitted. Those who were never LDS, but are interested in learning more about the Catholic Church, may be admitted to the group. Admission requires approval from the Moderator. We ask that you maintain a charitable and civil tone of language at all times.

Our Orthodox brothers and sisters in faith are also invited to join this group, and we welcome their participation.
