This group is for owners or fans of the Catalina/Capri 18 sailboat. This forum is open to anyone interested in either the newer Catalina 18 MK II or the classic Capri 18/Catalina 18 models.

New members do not have to be approved and have immediate access to Files, Photos, etc. However, due to spammers joining, posting, and disappearing forever, posts from new members are now moderated. Approval of first messages may take awhile, especially on weekends. If you join, please add an entry in the members Database. MERCURY/NISSAN/TOHATSU Alternator Kit Installation
I installed an alternator kit on my 5HP Nissan 4-stroke this afternoon. These are the same engines as the Mercury and Tohatsu,(which manufactures them all).
