Dear Rod,
the Philippines are a colonial oddity, created by the
greedy and cruel Spaniards some 500 years ago.
Spaniards created this oddity only in the view of
their own interests, regardless to the peoples with so
many and very different cultures, races and histories.
This oddity continues to exist. Unfortunately, young
people are brainwashed in schools to acept this oddity
and to fight everyone who is not ready to accept it.
The Negritos, first people on the "philippine"
archipelagos resist to accept the oddity Philippines.
They generally do not term themselves Filippinos,
despites the often very heavy oppression from the
straight-haired Filipinos.
We at FPCN support the Negritos in their desperate
struggle for survival for independance from the
straight-hair people, who have stolen all their land,
have killed so many of them., use them as slaves or
forcibly intermix with them. We support those, are
honest enough to speak out what the oddity Philippines
really is, a power complex for the good of a few. Now,
who would have disadvantages if this compulsory
creation Philippines would be dissolved?
I canīt imagine that the Negritos would have
disadvantages.
You say that you support rightful claims of ancestral
lands. The whole Sierra Madre and the eastern coast of
Luzon island is ancestral land. Do you support the
idea to give this all back to the Agta? And in which
way? What rights would you like to give them? Would
you like to give them back their former monopoly over
power and law? Would you support full authonomy or
even independance, as claimed by many of the
aboriginals?
You write that ther should be no discrimination or
division between the Unat and the Kulot. Keep in mind
that discrimination comes 100% for one side. Please
also keep in mind that the Negritos want division from
the destroyers of their culture and the robbers of
their land, and that they see themselves as unable to
continue with their existance, if there is no
division. For example, would you have said that the
Nazi-Germans and the Jews should not have been divided
and the Jews therefor should not have escaped? Agta
try to escape but there is no retread for them any
more.
You write both, Unat and Kulot are Filipinos. But why
you want to force the Agta to be Filipinos if they
dont want?
I must agree when Headland uses the term colonizers
for the Unat. He himself is also a colonizer, he
should go back to where he is supposed to be, probably
England. The Americans from European descent are
colonizers, or may be occupants. These Americans are
unwanted in North America and they should go back.
Why to keep the truth secret?
There is obviously quite much in disagreement between
us, probably caused by different education. Let us,
however, keep united in our common fight against the
worst, the logging (legally and illiegally), which is
the destruction of livelyhoods
