Looks like it will be close to $200 for the parts and service manuals.

I will begin working on my new (to me)case 310-c this winter. I was wondering if
any of you guys have a dimensional drawing of the track pins and bushings? I
plan on making my own.
Any recommendations on material to make them out of?

probably rebuild my engine first, and then work down from there. The engine has

Parts books are pretty cheap on Ebay, but service manuals not so much.
I wish I could get ahold of one in PDF, I could crank them out on my duplex
laserjet for about 1/3 the usual selling rate of 130 bucks. I haven't bought a
service manual yet, I'm a cheapskate!

my terratrac had a 6226 contential flathead motor and was very simular to a case
310 in looks dont really know underneath but I did purchase rollers etc that
were in stock at a case dealer it did have a torque convertor with a drive
shaft it was not really a completely automatic trans per say it had forward
and reverse on the control with a high and low range on the tracks this was
controled by hydrolic pressure to clutchs  that shifted the transmission with a
driveshaft driven by a torque convertor to the front of the transmission input
shaft the range on the transmission was manually shifted it had two brake drums
on the countershafts to brake the tracks when the brake was engaged it had a
shuttle valve on brake lines that disengaged hydralic pressure on the
transmission clutch on the side the brake was applied to  I dont consider it
very large machine but the manuel I have I beleave also had a manuel
transmission version in it with a
clutch I will have to dig them out and look

It is basically the same tractor as a Case 310 and uses many of the same parts
as a Case 310. The engine is different as it is a flathead Continental. Case
bought/merged with ATC in 1956 and the put Case engines in the tractors after
that. Continental engine parts are harder to find but are available.

The condenser should be ok, I would install a new set of points, new condenser,
distributor cap, rotor, and wires, as it probably could use a tune up anyway.

Jack, 500 Manuals would be almost useless to you to use with your GT25/GT32. A
600 is a much larger tractor similar in name only, with a torque converter drive
and automatic transmission/transaxle. The undercarriage is totally different

A 600 Terratrac is nothing at all like a Terratrac 300/400 or a Case 310/420 and
would be almost useless. It is a much bigger tractor and built totally different

I would just use a Case 310 manual, not sure if you will be able to find a
Terratrac manual, contact Ed at crawler heaven, I believe he has manuals, and
George may have them as well, if not try Ebay.
My guess on the weight would be about 6500 - 7500 poundsdepending on how it is
equipped.

If you have stock gauges the oil pressure gauge and water temp gauge are
mechanical so there is no problem using 12V with them, an Amp gauge and volt
meter don't care what the voltage is. You will have to reverse the wires on the
Amp gauge when doing from 6volt positive ground to 12Volt negative ground. You
will also need a ballast resistor between the ignition switch and the ignition
coil, or make sure you buy a coil with a built in resistor. Any light bulbs will
have to be changed to 12Volt bulbs, headlights and dash lights.

No it is a 1955 ATC Terratrac "G300" sold by American Tractor dealers. It is
basically the same tractor as a Case 310 and uses many of the same parts as a
Case 310. The engine is different as it is a flathead Continental. Case
bought/merged with ATC in 1956 and the put Case engines in the tractors after

Hello nameless,

Go to the yahoo site for this group. You may find info there. It also lists
the links to the mirror sites for this group. This groups site used up all
it's space for pix and the mirror sites were created for pix and files but
not posting.

Do you have a dozer, loader and counterweight or what?

I have a 59 Case 526 and a 56 ATC 656. I might have a brochure at home that
has some info on tours.

According to what you are saying it does have the Continental engine with the
spark plugs straight up. And it is Construction yellow. So this Crawler was a
G420 sold by case construction dealers?

Are you sure the Model number isn't G 300? By the serial number and the model
number your tractor would be a 1955 Terratrac G300. Is the engine a flathead
Continental, with the spark plugs sticking straight up?
The Case G310 and G320/G420 were the same tractors just painted different
colors, the G310 was Tan and red and sold by Case Ag/Farm dealers, the h

later G420 was the same but had a longer track frame and track and one extra

I'm not so great with model and serial numbers.. How about engine size, model if
possible. Differential steer or hydraulic, "shuttle transmission' or 3 speed

I recently purchased a crawler that says its a case 420 but the original owner
said he thought it was a 310? There is a small Id badge on the sheetmetal on the

thanks. I had to remove a bracket then found 6698. it must be a 1953 GT-25.
Found a number cast into right bottom on the engine, F400A42?/S 3. Is this a
Continental engine and can I rebuild it with new cylinder sleeves like the newer
Cont's?

I think it's a GT-30, not sure. Does anyone know where on the machine to find
#s? Found DIVCO F400 on cylinder head. Engine hasn't been run in decades, crack
on left side of block. Considering swaping in Ford 2.3 4cyl if I can't revive
her. Anyone have experience with swapping engines with these? I normally restore
cars.
