AVAILABLE NOW: In my December 2008 Zebra Debut,
WHAT A SCOUNDREL WANTS, Will Scarlet, Robin Hood's estranged nephew, rescues an alchemist who can clear him of murder, but she's blind, obsessed with fire, and sister to the woman he helped abduct.
Also available is Part One of
SERENADE, the free novel I'm serializing on my website. In 1804 Salzburg, a widowed violin prodigy studies with the stern, sexy composer she idolizes, only to learn he plagiarized the symphony he's most famous for. New chapters will be posted every month!
COMING SOON: Set in medieval Spain, the sequel to
What a Scoundrel Wants features Meg's troubled sister Ada. In
SCOUNDREL'S KISS, a hunted warrior monk must cure an English translator of her opium addiction, but she plans to seduce her way to freedom, jeopardizing his vows of obedience, nonviolence, and chastity. It's due on shelves in January 2010 from Kensington.
My short story "
Sundial," in which a modern woman finds herself in 1958 Italy and falls in love with a fellow time traveler from 1987, won The Wild Rose Press's "Through the Garden Gate" contest in the Vintage (1950s-60s) category. Now it's being released as part of a print anthology featuring all four of the contest winners.
THROUGH THE GARDEN GATE will be available in December 2009.
I look forward to getting to know you all better. Please let me know what's on your mind!
All my best,
Carrie
