COMING SOON: Set in medieval Spain, the sequel to What a Scoundrel Wants features Meg's troubled sister Ada. In SCOUNDREL'S KISS, a hunted warrior monk must cure an English translator of her opium addiction, but she plans to seduce her way to freedom, jeopardizing his vows of obedience, nonviolence, and chastity. It's due on shelves in January 2010 from Kensington.

My short story "Sundial," in which a modern woman finds herself in 1958 Italy and falls in love with a fellow time traveler from 1987, won The Wild Rose Press's "Through the Garden Gate" contest in the Vintage (1950s-60s) category. Now it's being released as part of a print anthology featuring all four of the contest winners. THROUGH THE GARDEN GATE will be available in December 2009.
