This is a place where people in the Carolinas can get together to talk about hiking trips and meet others who like to hike. This is a loosely organized group where people with all different skill levels can ask hiking and backpacking questions without fear of being criticized or ridiculed. This club is a place that doesn't rely on the moderators to keep it active, it relies on its members. The moderators have lives like everyone else, and we are just happy to get together with others who share our love of the outdoors from time to time. If you are looking for some people to join you on a hike, then post it and maybe you will find some interest from fellow hikers. Members are more than welcome to post about any other links that relate to hiking. This is a volunteer club and we have no interest having members that only exist to be negative and criticize the moderators or other members. If you have issues that you need to discuss, email either of us directly. There are a lot of great people in this club, and we hope to see you on one of the future trips.
