Care N Share Sioux Falls SD Food Share is the first FoodShare.us group started in South Dakota. The goal of FoodShare.us is to give folks a means of offering excess perishable or nonperishable food items that might otherwise go to waste.

Members can offer items such as excess items from government programs (infant formula, milk, etc), seeds, plants, fruit before it rots on the tree, excess veggies from the garden, canned goods from their hurricane survival stock, and so on.
