Chicago Alternative Policing Strategy (CAPS) Beat 2411 covers the area between Howard St. on the north and Pratt Blvd. on the south, Ridge Blvd. on the east and Kedzie Ave. on the west. Anyone who lives within this area, who works within this area, who owns property within this area, or who owns a business within this area is automatically a member and encouraged to join with us by attending meetings, joining committees, and helping us to make our neighborhood an even better place to live.
Please inform us of any problems in your neighborhood that require the attention of the police or our group. If you don't want to be identified, we will protect your identity and only forward the information.

CAPS Beat 2411 will also act as a court advocate for the community, as deemed necessary.

Remember, call 911 for police, fire, or medical emergencies or those situations where a police officer's presence is necessary and call 311 for non-threatening situations, such as reporting a burned-out street light, obtaining a police report, etc. If you're not sure, call either and the operator will properly route your call.
