After much lobbying by area residents, Sound Transit
has finally incorporated a small route change to the
ST 545 bus route to allow for a Capitol Hill stop.

The change went into place just this week and hasn't
been well publicized. From capitolhillnews member
Brandon, comes this description of the Capitol Hill
route extension (edited by me):

[Route 545] now goes from Olive and Terry Ave and
makes a right up Boren, then a left onto Pine Street,
then turns north onto Bellevue Av E. There is new 545
bus stop at Bellevue and Olive -- just south of City
Market. The bus route then turns to the northbound
Olive Way onramp to I-5 and continues on towards
520/Montlake and the Eastside.

Congratulations to Anirudh, the hardest working
proponent of the route change!

I hope to hear back from Capitol Hill/First Hill
commuters on how this route change is working for
