In line with BikeNZ,s objectives they have made the following key changes to the
road racing program for 2010 and beyond.

- A year round National Points Series (NPS) involving varying event categories
including club events (effective 2010 for National and Regional events and fully
implemented with club and local events in 2011)

- Club Road Nationals moved to first week of May (effective 2010 in Hawkes Bay)
29 April – 2 May 2010

- A National Teams Time Trial Championships (Labour Weekend effective 2010)

- Elite Road Nationals to be held in Christchurch for 3 years (as previously
advised).

The timing of these events fits in well with the PNP calendar and we are looking
to extend the calendar from March into April to provide some competitive racing
as a build up for the Club Road nationals.
