There are many opportunities for young people during the summer, yet music camp
enrollment has been on the rise because of the positive impact it plays on a
child's overall development and musical skills. During Cambrian's Summer Music
Program, students will associate with talented and enthusiastic instructors and
peers, and experience a wide range of musical activities.
The program will be held at Price Middle School from June 22nd through July 16th
culminating with a family concert on the evening of July 16th. No classes will
be held July 3rd. Classes run Monday through Friday from 8:30a.m.-12:30p.m.
Cambrian Summer Music is open to Cambrian School District students who will be
entering 5th through 9th grades in the fall. Students are expected to provide
their own instruments; a limited number of instruments are available to rent
from the program.
Due to a decline in available funding, this program will rely on donations. A
donation of $220 is requested for each student enrolled in order to cover the
cost of the program. If sufficient funds are not collected by June 1st, 2009,
the program will be cancelled, all registrants will be notified, and checks
returned. Additional donations are certainly welcome!
Most kids think their weeks at Music Camp are the best weeks they spend all
year.
Yours will too!
