Welcome to the CGC family.

Our club is dedicated to finding family and making connections. The California Genealogy Club (CGC) is California based, but we also have sources and members literally all over the nation and world. Anyone who is interested in genealogy is welcome to join no matter what your skill level is or the length of time that you have been doing genealogy. CGC stresses use of free genealogy and free public information as often as possible in our links. Some members with subscriptions to genealogy services will do a look-up if asked nicely.

Our policy is to have family oriented fun, so all member's messages are moderated until we get to know you. Spam or smut will never reach your email from this club as we do not allow attachments and discourage forwarded emails. We prefer that you keep politics and current events discussions in the discuss database unless they are directly related to genealogy.
