very one? That is impressive. I only have a few
so far, but love the ones I have! How many are there
all together anyway? ( Just wondered where I would
put them all if I ever got to that point!)
You
wouldn't happen to know anyone that has an extra "Three
Little Kittens who lost their Mittens" would you? I
posted that I was looking for it before, but never got
any response so I guess no one else knows where one
for sale might be!

AM INTERESTED IN GETTING TOGETHER AND CHATTING
ABOUT CALICO KITTENS ALSO. WHAT ARE THE ABBEY PRESS
EXCLUSIVES? I have one from last year but haven't seen
another in their catalogue. I am trying to find something
with all the kittens pictures in it, do you know about
anything like that? I have to go eat dinner now and will
be back later or tomorrow. abye Sues6cats

have yet to find anybody on this site when I
log
on, so I was wondering if there is any
interest in
picking a date and time that all of us
could log on and have a chat. I know you must all be
like me and just love your Calico Kitten collection as
much as I love mine. I have every single piece that
has come out including all of the displays and really
like the new pieces that have come out for Spring.
Have any of you gotten the 3 Abbey Press exclusive
pieces yet? I just got mine and they are adorable. So
what do you think about setting a time and date to
chat? Let's get this club rolling, after all we all
have a lot in common, Calico Kittens.

I can't say it was nice to meet you because no one
even said "Hello". This is not a good way to get a
message board going. People need to be friendly and this
board isn't at this point. Susan :>(

can't believe I just stumbled into this message
board. I have one I was trying to start, also on Yahoo
under the new clubs, but I really hadn't gotten any
response and that surprised me. Now I know why! The only
people that had been to see me were just a few friends.
I don't know why I didn't see this before. Anyway,
I have been an avid collector for about 3 years. I
have around 60! My husband thinks I am nuts, he just
doesn't understand my passion for them! (What do they
know, Huh?) We have lived in quite a few states and the
most consistent place I have found to purchase the
CK's is in the Hallmark stores. They have never let me
down. I don't think I have ever found them anywhere
else. Have ya'll visited the ebay auctions, under
ENESCO? I buy quite a few through there..brand new and a
lot of them are MIB! I love going there because it
gives me the opportunity to purchase retired ones. Too
bad we don't know each other better. I was in my
Hallmark the other day and they were closing out the Three
Little Kittens.I am not able to chat as I am on webtv
but I hope before long to have a computer. I am
working on the Hubby! If you would like I can be reached
at susan-cee@.... Drop by and let's get to
know each other better.Later! Susan :>)

epending on where you live, depends on how hard
kittens are to find. There is a wealth of online souces
to find CK's, I find I often use them.

I
think many stores stopped carring them because at first
they were not doing too well.. so now stores are
cautious about carrying the line again.

s it just me or is it hard to find ck's? I've
had to start buying mine out of state and have them
shipped because there are only a few stores near me that
carry part of the collection. I think things are
picking up though as far as the number of collectors go
so maybe more stores will carry them. I don't
collect Cherished Teddies but I love the designs and I
wish the CK line would expand to those CT type
designs. They're beautiful and I know I'd be spending all
my money on them, as if I don't spend enough now :)

oes anybody know someone who is selling or
somewhere to buy "Three Little Kittens Who Lost Their
Mittens"? I just had to have them when I first saw them..
Problem is, I waited too long, just found out that it is
a limited edition piece, and can't seem to find any
for sale! I saw a few on websites last week, but I
went back this week and, of course, they are gone!
Thanks for any help.
Melanie

he list that Enesco sends when you request one,
is not correct. I recieved one 2 years ago, the CK
numbers do not always match and not all the kittens were
listed. I would take the list as a general guideline! I
realize that it may have changed since then, but I know
someone who recently received one, and it didn't appear
to be entirely correct either.

know that there is not a newsletter, but if you
contact Enesco's Consumer Affairs (I did by e-mail) and
ask for all information on Calico Kittens, they will
send you something. I got a list of all the Calico
Kittens (past and present) and also they sent me a pocket
guide to carry around that says which one's you have
and which one's you want. They sent this all FREE to
me, which the pocket guide sells for like $2-3. I
have heard though that sometimes people don't have
good luck with Enesco, but I certainly did. Calico
Kitten collector's should just rally together and demand
a club from Enesco and get the same treatment as
Precious Moments and Cherished Teddies collectors do. So
if you find a web page that you can talk to other
Calico Kittens collectors spread the word about this
club. I did on Bear's and Buddies. Happy kitty
collecting.

hanks for the reply. I was surprised to read
about the newsletter. I thought there was one regularly
sent out. I was actually hoping to find out how to get
it. (I suppose I don't need to now!) I think I read
it on a web site somewhere (that there was one
available.). That's too bad. Collectors need to know what's
available, and I would think it might boost Enesco's sales!

he importance of registering CK's is to let
Enesco know how many collectors there are and what
pieces are popular (so they say). They also base their
mailing list on this (for a newsletter?) We had only one
newletter mailing, with the promise of more, but it never
appeared. Enesco decided it was too expensive. According to
a representitive from Enesco a few years ago, there
were 75,000 kitten collectors. You would think they
would treat us a little better, like with a club!!
Anyways, sorry for the novel that has appeared. Enesco's
treatment of us is a little of a sore point!

Happy
collecting! >^..^<

just recently started collecting Calico
Kittens, so I don't have too many, YET! I am hoping to
learn from more "seasoned" collectors. By the way, I
was wondering how important it is to register the
kitties. (I haven't registered any of them.)

i, I am new to collecting and am dissapointed that Enesco has not provided a
club, but I am glad to have found this one, hopefully there will be more signing
up in the future.

see that not many people have signed up to be members. I know that there are a
ton of people out there who are as addicted to Calico Kittens as I am. I hope we
can get something going.
