The Teen Events List is for Calgary and area "homeschooled teens", ages 12 and up, to plan field trips, activities, chat, etc. Parents are welcome to join, to offer ideas, support, and opportunities. Members of this list are encouraged to post ideas for field trips and/or to organize them. Your help is very much appreciated!!!! Don't forget to add your email address to your announcement, so that people can contact you for information and to register!

Posts will not be limited to the topic, but will be monitored by the list owners, so while members are free to express themselves and get acquainted, they should remember to "Keep it Clean and Civil! :)

Please remember this is to be a fun safe environment for teens, anyone acting out verbally or physically towards his or her peers, property, etc., will be warned. If issues continue, they will be asked to leave the list and not to return to future teen events organized through this list.

This is a picture of Zach and Tegan kayaking at Carburn Park this past summer. They are practicing their tipping--not really. They are actually looking for Zach's glasses, which he lost during HS canoe lessons a few weeks earlier. Zach still had a fun day during canoeing lessons, despite not being able to see to well. I hear there is a few pair of glasses at the bottom of that body of water.
