This genealogy research group is for the descendants of Caleb and Ann Gilbert of Newberry County, SC. Caleb Gilbert lived in Newberry County, SC from 1769 to his death in abt. 1805. He was born in Bucks County, PA in 1740 to Quakers Thomas and Lydia Gilbert. The photo on the right is of the Thomas and Lydia Gilbert Farm in Buckingham, Bucks County which is on the National Register of Historic Places.
