This list is meant to enhance the exchange of experiences made with CalculiX. CalculiX is a free software nonlinear three-dimensional finite element program for structural applications. It includes nonlinear static, nonlinear dynamic (implicit and explicit), frequency, buckling and modal dynamic calculations. Available materials are elastic, hyperelastic and elastoplastic materials. It comes with a preprocessor to generate and mesh the structures, and a postprocessor to view the results (stresses..) by means of contour plots and animation. Several extensions are planned: cfr. http://www.calculix.de.
