This list is for those interested in scribal arts in the Kingdom of Caid, and in particular to keep contact with scribes who have scroll assignments.

We are also interested in promoting historic calligraphy, illumination, gilding, and the other techniques that support our scribal activities including creating our own paints from dry pigments, making our own ink from natural materials, and using archeaology to study the history of this art.

The Caidan College of Scribes holds a regular Kingdom Scriptorium on the the First and Third Thursday each month 7:30-10:30 pm at the home of the Scribe Armarius. Bring your current project to work on, or help out with the scroll assembly line. Beginners welcome - we will put you to work!

Original scrolls are done by request only - please send an email to the Scribe Armarius to request a scroll. Presentations of completed scrolls are generally made at Twelfth Night and Coronations, with additional presentations as arranged.
