This group is for all Californians--Democrat, Republican, and Independent--who believe that Barack Obama should be the next President of the United States.

The group's mission is:
(1) to organize community meetings and other outreach opportunities to spread the word about Senator Obama, and why we believe he should be our nation's next President
(2) to prepare a petition encouraging Senator Obama to enter the 2008 Presidential race
(3) to facilitate debate amongst Senator Obama's supporters about the most important political issues facing Californians, and other Americans, today

Following the Senator's lead, this Group seeks to avoid the divisive partisan rancor that has prevented our nation from moving forward in a new and positive direction. The discussion on this site is moderated, and we encourage constructive dialogue on issues relevant to the 2008 Presidential race.
