The Butterfly Tour is some chics, some kids, a minivan, and the open road. Our mission: to explore the development of intentional community in the United States. For five weeks in the summer of 2001, we will visit several communities across the US, and focus specifically on what it means for children to grow in community. We will take video footage, several person to person interviews, visit a broad variety of intentional communities, and try to come up with something to say about it all.

So if you'd like to follow along with our journey, you can join this club- and we'll send you an update about our travels each week. We'll give a chronicle of where we've been, who we've seen, and what we think about it. Or if you don't like getting e-mail, you can tune in to this site whenever you like to check our calendar, and take a look at the message archive. Either, way you can also get additional info about the tour via this club page. Under files, you can find bios of the crew members, as well as our individual journals. We'll also post some unique interviews there as we get them. Also under files, you can find some pictures of the tour. But if you really want the sights, look under bookmarks.
