Burning_Hamsters is a list group for participants of, or those interested in, the Burning Man Project (http://www.burningman.com) who live in the Bellingham, WA area (and the people who love them).

This list is used for local event planning, Playa preparation, discussion, casual conversation, and often useless, silly banter of the irreverent variety. The purpose of this list is to facilitate real world relationships between real people. We value and encourage participation. If you join us in the cyber world, be prepared to meet us in person.

You must request to join this list, and when you do so, please add a note with your request so we know you are not a spammer, a lurker, or a looky-loo.

After joining the list, please make at least one introductory post to introduce yourself to the group. The list moderators may correspond with you indivdually to encourage you to participate in the discussion and make yourself known. Not everyone will want to post regularly, but lurkers are kinda creepy, ya know?
