VOLUNTEER!
Enjoy a family holiday filled with History, Patriotism and Roses! Parades on The Alameda started with the Carnival of Roses in 1896 and continued with The Fiesta de Las Rosas Parade in the 20's. Delve into the history of The Alameda as community groups come together to restore the pleasure of an old-fashioned family-style 4th of July. Enjoy the excitement of floats, bands, an old-fashioned calliope, marching units, kids and pets, antique cars with local dignitaries and dance troupes.
Our street festival at the conclusion of the parade will feature food booths, a jumphouse, carnival booths, dunk tank and items for sale and will benefit community non-profit groups.
