Bunnyhelpers is an informal mailng list for the discussion of house rabbit issues within Indiana.

All are welcome to join as long as the list guidelines are followed. These are:

1. Keep posts on-topic.
Discuss house rabbit related issues on this list. Do not post off topic. Do not post long stories written as if it's your bunny talking (a la PetBunny). Don't pass around bogus virus alerts or pleas for missing children.

2. Respect the other list members.
Trim comments out of followups; be respectful; feel free to disagree as long as you do so constructively. Flame wars and personal insults will not be tolerated and may result in being kicked off the list.

Do not "crosspost," which means sending on e-mail to a number of recipients, including this list.

3. Be tolerant and embrace diversity.
Over time there will be people on the list and involved in our group who are from all walks, and who someone, somewhere, is going to clash with. That's okay; just smile and move on. =-) Diversity makes any group stronger. As long as we all share a common courtesy and tolerance for others, things will be grand.

4. I made this group for discussion of HOUSE RABBIT issues. This group is not for 4H or breeder discussions.

If you think these rules are unnecessary, I say that from managing various mailing lists, including a 350 person list that generated over 150 posts on a slow day, that the oddest things happen. If you want to read more about mailing list and netiquette, take a look here:
