Created by William Moulton Marston in the 1940's and debuting in All Star Comics #8, Wonder Woman has stood the test of time. She has survived the good and the bad and today remains an icon of the femininst movement. Princess Diana of Themyscira is one of the most original characters to emerge in comics. Birthed from Mythos itself, she has spread the Amazon ideals of peace and equality. She has proven Mythology to be real and has worked against the adversity of being a Pagan in a predominantly non-Pagan world. Her love for her family and friends is as powerful as her abilities. She has battled monsters, Gods and Goddesses and the worst super-villains DC Comics has to offer. She is a member of the Justice League of America, as well as a former member of the Justice League Europe. Powerful, compassionate and amazing!
