" One four letter word- "Help" holds the answer to most of life's problems"  

To The Editor :

My heart goes out to those who have experienced the wrath of Hurricane Katrina in  in  Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana and New Orleans .

America seething in shame and indignation as anarchy and mayhem sweep over post-Hurricane Katrina New Orleans amid a complete systemic and leadership failure.People were dying in Shelters, Rapes, Beatings, Looting and violence unimaginable in 21st Century America: that may well been from deepest Africa or desperate Asia, not the world most advanced country.

America is once more plunged into a snake pit of anarchy, death, looting, raping, marauding thugs, suffering innocents, a shattered infrastructure, a gutted police force, insufficient troop levels and criminally negligent government planning. But this time it's happening in America.

People were there like pure animals.Humanitarian mission in New Orleans with failure leadership and generosity towards Race and Class, New Orleans Population is 4,77000, and 68% are  African American Black and very poor. 95000 got High School Education. This is a racial aspect of disaster.

 Hurricane shown the real face of U.S. against Race and Class( In India it is  called Caste Not Race or Class -Dalits  means " Untouchable " ), poor people in the world has to die with suffering and humiliation without freedom and justice in this  kind of disaster. There is no choice ? " Our greatest enemy is poverty and not human beings."

The poor in this country U.S. have too long been ignored and demonized.  Simply put, those people we see suffering in New Orleans are there because they are dirt poor and have no means to leave and nowhere to go.When they were deaf for so long to the horrific misery and cries for help of the victims in New Orleans - most of them poor and black.They are not with car or credit cards or any big Bungalow to show up and run to other city , they are helpless and No plan to  go any where but die in New Orleans only?Birth place.

Who are we if we can't take care of our own?

Representative Elijah Cummings a Democrat from Maryland, criticised the Federal Government's response at a news briefing held by the Congressional Black Caucus Friday morning. 

" We have long heard claims of compassionate conservatism a mong our nation's leaders,"Cummings said. " We now want the compassion. This is the time for those with wealth and resources to step up to the plate.

"As a Citizen of a third-world country ( India), I ' ve been amazed at the reports from New Orleans seen on CNN, NBC, ABC, BBC World ( While staying three days in New York -August30- Sept.1, 2005.)and Press Media The New York Times, USA Today, Daily News NYC, Daily Express, UK, International Herald Tribune and Indian Press Media, particularly at how inadequate the relief effort has been. In particular I  Salute the teams of reporters CNN, NBC, ABC , BBC World, and Press Media of America and India for their great coverage of Hurricane Katrina New Orleans and U. S.

Mumbai, India had heavy rain fall on July 26, 2005, the relief and rescue teams are mobilised so fast that city of Mumbai was normal in 48 Hours.

It's not just a lack of preparedness. I think the easy answer in to say that these are poor people an Black people and so the Government does-n-'t gave a damn." " Believe it or not, these people are human. Right now they crowed like Animals in Super dome in New Orleans. They're trying to keep their dignity."

President Bush said: what's not working right, we're going to make it right.

I think that  Hurricane disaster shown that U.S. is not super power country, one big storm and they are finished. U.S. can react very quickly on Iraq, But it comes to it's own people they make a different in world make good. Shame !!

Word's can't describe the devastation Homeland Security Secy.U.S. said : U.S." Encouraging any one who is able to volunteer" in this global mission of Humanitarian I wish to volunteer my services along with my UN.NGO Airline Ambassadors International, San Francisco,USA, to carry out the humanitarian mission project in New Orleans. This is a human tragedy in history of America, like Black Tsunami.

I think New Orleans Mayor Mr. C. Ray Nagin, must run for the U.S. President Election in 2008 and inform U.S. citizens that there is a place call " Hope" and that is going to be" New Orleans of America."!
