Try this. I found it by just doing a Google seach for Buck Roger's 70's
anniversary Edition
http://www.classicflix.com/buck-rogers-70th-anniversary-edition-pi-9036.html
I bought my copy from Amazon but I've found listed for cheaper prices elsewhere.

Serial
I just viewed my copy of the 70's anniversary DVD release of the 1939 Buck
Rogers serial. This is the best print of the serial that I have seen so far.
The VHS copy that I bought almost 20 years ago and an earlier DVD release I
thought were below par print releases.
But the only reason I actually bought this release was for the extras included.
There is a little of something for every type of Buck Rogers fan.
There is a very nice short history of Buck from his pulp Tony Rogers days to the
planned but ulitmately canceled Frank Millar adaptation. Buster (Buck
Rogers)Crabbe is repersented by an audio copy (acompandied by video clips from
his long film career) of a 1972 appearance where he talked and answered
questions about his life and film work. For fans of the 1970's TV series there
is a video of Gil and Erin on ComicCon's Buck Rogers's panel. But for me the
real gem of the collection is the 1935 short live action film Buck Rogers Vs The
Tiger Men of Mars.
But one question I have to asked is about the credits for who released Buck
Rogers way back in 1939. We all know the Buck Rogers was produced by Universal
Studios but in all the earlier home releases of the film the Universal logo is
missing. On the 70's anniversary release the Universal logo is seen only before
the first chapter and not before the remaining 11. Des any one know why this
is? After the film was first released was its copy sold to someone else? This
is a little something that I have always wondered about.

soundtrack
Hi.
I'm looking to start a petition to have the Universal company release a complete
score of the Buck Rogers film. As a soundtrack collector, I have read articles
of fans making requests for a complete soundtrack of their favorite films for
quite some time now.
Intrada Records had released a Buck Rogers soundtrack cd last year, but only as
the truncated LP version. I recently found out that Intrada plans to release the
complete score to Back To The Future(another Universal production). I have also
read an article stating Universal has Stu Phillips' complete score in their
vaults. According to Mr. Phillips, Universal has been unwilling to release the
material.
Why Universal is reluctant to honor the request of Buck Rogers/Stu Phillips fans
is beyond me, given that complete scores of films(especially limited editions)
are doing very well in the market. I don't know if anyone has started a petition
for the soundtrack before, but if anyone is interested in signing, please let me
know ASAP.

The end of season two, episode 42 has been posted and this is it's tiny teaser:
" After the thread to the Jenka & all the Breed of Light is revealed, Buck is
forcefully taken off the scene and away from all the action. Back to the 21st
century. But can even that stop him from saving their lives in the 26th
century?". The audio version of episode 40 has been posted. Plus both
'Metamorphosis' and 'A Brighter Flame' have had their novel versions posted.
Erin
The other day I decided to test the links that lead to sites not connected to
the 26th Century site on the main page and found out one was down. A Buck Rogers
site that acted as a good resource for information on it, for the most part on
the 70's & 80's TV series.
I always want to have a good resource link on the main page for Buck Rogers in
the 25th Century, and ever since that movie started getting worked on, more and
more Buck Rogers sites have been popping up.
What I'd like to ask in this message is, what Buck Rogers site acts as a good
resource over it's whole that should I replace the broken link with? I don't
know if it's remembered, but the first of these links I ever coded into the site
was, buck-rogers.com . That one I'm aware is still active but however hasn't
been updated in ages and is *loaded with ads for buying things (*reason I took
it off).
I already have a link to the official site on the site.
Erin
Hi everyone,
I made an error in the link in my prior post.
The link should have been http://www.thewellers.com/twiki/buck.htm
There's a PDF on there with the "Passages" script I wrote, which gives my take
on what happened between seasons 1 and 2 of the Glen A. Larson series.
- Mark
I thought some of you might be interested in having a look at this fanfic script
I put together called "Passages." It tries to settle some of the questions as
to what happened between season 1 and season 2 of the 1979-81 series.
I also posted it online on my website's Buck Rogers page at
http://www.thewellers.com/twiki/buck.htm.
I first put it up on the web about a year ago, but I've updated the format a
little bit.
Hope you are having a pleasant week.
Thanks,

I've been asked what's going on in regard to Gil's new Official Website.
Sitting comfortably? Here goes......
I was approached with the idea to have merchandise as part of The Official
Gil Gerard Fansite but it would've included to many changes, changes that
I wasn't happy with. So I suggested that they should do their own separate
website for merchandise and all professional stuff etc etc and that
whatever is designed I'd link to it. Hence the fact that there is now a new
Official Gil Gerard Website coming soon, which has the URL of
_www.gilgerard.com_
(http://www.gilgerard.com)
I do know for a fact that I want The Official Gil Gerard Fansite to stay
the same; it's just a non-profit fansite run by a stubborn fan (that'll be
me LOL) with contributions from other fans and is for information
purposes........and it's for fun.......with sarcasm thrown in for good measure.
The
only changes was the fansite's name (I think gilgerard{dot}net would've been
predictable. The Official Gil Gerard Fansite is straight to the point I
suppose) and it's URL.
TOGGF (as I call it when I'm too lazy to write it out in full) can now be
reached by using _www.gilgerard.net_ (http://www.gilgerard.net/) or the
good old _http://gilgerard.tripod.com_ (http://gilgerard.tripod.com/) which
ever URL takes your fancy. :)
So Gil now has two Official sites.......the greedy @&*^%$!

Thank you. I thought I had missed it. But I think you are right, I need
to look into a subscription service, especially since there really aren't

Episodes 39 and 40 have been posted for Buck Rogers in the 26th Century. 'The
Blackthorn Rose', episode 39's tiny teaser: "When Doctor Huer is forced out of
his office after an attempt is made on his life. The Defense Directorate's best
is sent after the group who made the attempt, the Blackthorn Rose. But can they
succeed in this effort under changed leadership?". 'The Planet of Wonders',
episode 40's tiny teaser: "Sent to investigate a case of quote un quote imagined
theft. Buck and Wilma soon discover their case is much bigger than originally
suspected after having been stolen them selfs." Also the audio version of
episode 38 has been posted on the Extra Media page and a gallery update in
reference to episode 39 has been made on the Misc. page.
This is it! The season two finale is almost here! To post your thoughts over
season two of Buck Rogers in the 26th Century, please sign in or sign up in the
site's forum.
Happy reading,
Erin
I have been following and enjoying the series. While it updates the Buck Rogers
formula to the 21 century you can see ideas sampled from earlier adaptations.
One thing that bothers me (and it is a small thing) but Wilma appears to be
related to Buck's 21 century girl friends. Something about that sits uneasily
with me.
