Yeah, it has gotten cooler; the temps are in the
sixties & some days as low as fifty. Hard to believe it's
almost October. The leaves are changing here. What about
Connecticut; are the leaving turning there yet? Sure, I'm okay
with you rent out the rooms; it's your house. Heyy,
you two won't get lonely with Janine & me away. I'm
taking this swell course in art history in Europe; it's
a neat class & Professor Stanson is interesting!
She has us imagine the era that the art is
represented in. I can't believe I'm in college either; my
friends & I e-mail each other regularly. Mona, Kristy, &
Mary Anne love NYC & Stacey is adjusting to Vermont
well. She says the leaves are changing there too. Guess

Barry is here! Did you ever meet her? She's an
interesting person & wants to be an actress. She lives down

treating you. My God, John & I can't believe our little
one is an ADULT & in college! Congrats on getting the
job at the art store; it's right up your alley! Is it
cold there yet. It's getting chilly at night here &

this & were wondering if it's all right with you,
Claudia...we are contemplating renting your old bedrooms out
to students from either Stamford U. or Stoneybrook
U. for the winter. They would go back to their
parents or friends for Thanksgiving & Christmas breaks &
for the summers, but we want to bounce it off you &
your sister first to see if you're all right with it.

it's hard to believe my dear twins are grown! How's

Meanwhile, I've been working here. My hours are growing
again. I've toyed with the idea of taking in a
Stoneybrook U. student for the winter. The house is certainly
big enough for one & they'd have their own entrance &

seems so empty & quiet since you two left. I'm so glad
all is going well for the two of you. We're
re-adjusting here in Stoneybrook & so are the other parents.
Last Saturday, Rachel, the Brewer-Thomases, & the
Kishis joined us & we went out to eat. The Kishis are
thinking of taking in a student from Stoneybrook U. to
rent a room for the winter. So is Rachel. Tigger
climbed up in Sharon's lap the other night when she was
working on the computer & licked her face. We both had a
good laugh about that. And Tigger says hello, Mary
Anne. We'll talk to both of you soon & we're looking
forward to seeing you two again at Thanksgiving. We love

Hi, Dawn!<br>NYC is great! We got our
registration done yesterday & it was a zoo! I brought a book
since I knew it would be several hours. I got most of
the classes I wanted. I don't have to take History
101, since I took the AP history in junior & senior
year of high school. I signed up for an interesting
women's history class. I thought of continued with
German, but the classes were full. Oh, well, I hope my
German doesn't get rusty. Today, Kristy, Mona, & I went
around shopping for mundane essentials like toilet
paper, a small microwave, bathroom things, bedsheets,
laundry detergent, soap, & stuff like that. It's funny
how you don't think of things like that until you
move & esp. now out on our own. But we had a good time
as we worked our way through places like Lechters' &
Best Buy. We even stopped at Bloomingdale's for
kitchen stuff. It really made us aware that we're ADULTS
now. Hard to believe. This whole week has been like a
beautiful dream of buildings, people from all walks of
life, getting ready for adulthood & whatever
else...hey, I gotta go, so talk later! I love you!<br>

It's so beautiful here! From our dorm window, Mona & I
can see the Statue of Liberty! It's like a dream
turned to reality. I always knew I was a New Yorker at
heart. Mona, Kristy, & I are getting settled here.
There's so much to do before classes start this Tuesday!
Mona & I are still sorting through our pile of stuff
we brought from Stoneybrook & it'll take a few days
at least. It's getting late now & we have to get up

Hey, Kristy!<br>Made it here to Granite U. all
right. I have a huge mess here to untangle, but I have
another week I suppose until classes start. Today was
registration & man, were the lines sooo long! I brough my
sketch book to make time pass more quickly & I finally
got there by around four. I got all but one of the
classes I want. I got a good art class in, but there one
class they're making all freshman take, English 101,
which is no fun. Oh, well, it's only one semester.

Mary Anne's mine.  I love her big brown eyes & how she cries so easily & how
caring she is.  She's sooo sweet & is a delightful person.  I love how
courageous she is during tough times.

Who is everyone's favorite BSC member? Mine's Stacey- because I'm diabetic, like

Hi, I just joined this club. I love the Baby
Sitters Club. When I was younger, they were my favourite
books, and sometiems I still dig them out and read them.
<br><br>My favourite BSC member would have to be Dawn.
Though, Mary Anne and Stacey both come close. Of course,
I love them all, it's just that Dawn's my

I'm PiccoloAngel, and I'm a new member. I'm a college student from Chicago.

My favorite is Stacey, because i'm so much like
her! I'm a city girl (Chi-Town rules!), I'm also a
diabetic (that does not rule, it sucks) and I love
fashion! I'm also a writer like mallory, and a ballet
dancer like Jessi!

This is a neat club. I also write fiction stories about the BSC (I'm a college
