3. Test theories regarding common ancestors.
4. Pinpoint areas for additional research.
5. Confirm existing research.
6. Uncover genetic links to related surnames such as Brison, Brisson, Bryceson, Brice, Bryce.
7. Identify the genetic signature of Brysons from different regions of the British Isles.
