Description
The purpose of this message board/discussion list is to bring together a community of Eastman Kodak Brownie Camera collectors from all around the globe. This list originally began in 1995 on ListBot. It was moved over to eGroups in 2000. Yahoo! Groups acquired eGroups in early 2001. In 2006, AT&T acquired Yahoo! and here we are today!
The Brownie Camera Collector group has been setup for ALL collectors of Eastman Kodak Brownie cameras and photographers. Everyone, from amateurs to professional collectors and appraisers, is welcome to join this list and contribute to the discussion. The main purpose is informational and research.
New subscribers WILL be moderated until they are determined to be a valid contributor. If you join this list just to spam it, you WILL be unsubscribed immediately. If you have Brownie (or even Kodak) cameras that you wish to buy or sell, you can post that information on the list without worry about being unsubscribed - HOWEVER - I strongly suggest that you post the detailed camera information AND your asking price! This is not eBay and we're not running an auction site!
Lastly, PLEASE use discretion when replying to a board message ... think about whether or not the entire Yahoo group REALLY wants to read your reply or is it better intended to be sent directly to a single person. The whole point of this is to keep a clean and topical discussion primarily about Brownie cameras.
