Hi,
My name is Kara, mother of Kyle(7-dx-pddnos)and Emma(9-dx -ADHD). Kyle has delays in a number of areas such as speech, language, fine motor skills. Kyle is currently being home schooled. When I started this group we had found no medical reason or label for Kyle's delay's. Because of the lack of a label for Kyle, I could not find support groups in my area so I started Latebloomers.

This group is a great place to vent your frustrations, share your child's accomplishments or hold the hand of another parent who needs your support. Latebloomers is for parents of all children with developmental delays, not just autism or any other label. We are a group of parents who discuss therapy (ST,OT,PT) as well as experiences with doctors and other medical personal. Having a diagnosis is not required by any means.

I have found that no one understands what we are going through unless they have also experienced and lived our life. Please introduce yourself and your little angel to the group. I look forward to getting to know you and your children so we can support each other through the pain of watching our children struggle and the joy of each accomplishment, no matter how big or small.
