Description

YOU MUST SEND A MESSAGE TO THE LIST OWNER WHEN SUBSCRIBING TO THIS LIST. IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE THE MESSAGE AND SUBSCRIPTION REQUEST AT THE SAME TIME THE SUBSCRIPTION REQUEST WILL BE DENIED. In the note explain why you want to join the list. This is to avoid people or automated systems from joining the list for purposes of spamming. Brick-Oven is for anyone who bakes in a brick-oven, either commercially, at a historical site, or privately. We also welcome anyone interested in brick-oven baking or anyone contemplating building a brick-oven. We welcome stories about how you built your oven and how you use it. Both wood-fired and gas-fired brickovens, and wood-fired clay and pre-formed ovens are also discussed. We would like to hear about whatever you bake in your oven, discussion is not limited to bread baking.

Because of problems with spammers joining automatically, our list we are now requiring every new subscriber to write a short messgae of introduction so that we may approve your subscription quickly. YOU MUST SEND A NOTE OF INTRODUCTION TO THE LIST OWNER at: brick-oven-owner@yahoogroups.com AT THE SAME TIME AS REQUESTING SUBSCRIPTION OR YOUR REQUEST WILL BE DENIED. Anyone requesting subscription and not sending a private note at the same time will be automatically denied. If you have been denied feel free to request subscription again AND send the note to the list owner at: brick-oven-owner@yahoogroups.com . It is not our desire to deny anyone who is actually interested in brick oven or wood-fired baking. We only want to keep out the automatic spam subscribers and this is the only method which works. Do not send any warnings about possible viruses or other non-brick-oven related messages to this list. We all get those from enough other sources. Let's stick to the topic here. Thank you for your cooperation.
