The Breuls will be spending the next 2 years helping rescue children and young adults at risk in the Dominican Republic working with a multi-national Christian organization called Kids Alive International. John will be teaching computers and establishing a program to help students pursue education beyond 8th grade. Sally will be a school and public health nurse in their new hometown of Jarabacoa. Their three young boys will be going to the local Dominican school run by Kids Alive--they will be learning entirely in Spanish except for the couple of hours a day their mom homeschools them. It promises to be an amazing adventure. We hope and pray God will use it for good and we are confident that he will. This page is to help our friends, family and others who are supporting us in various ways keep up to date on what we are doing and, hopefully, feel a bit more connected to our work in the DR.
