This group is for fans of political poet, Brett Axel. Members will be informed of upcoming shows, tours, products, and calls for submissions as well as be the first to see brand new poems.

Brett Axel lives in Utica NY, tours the world giving readings, signings, workshops, so on.
He is a Unitarian Universalist, a social and political activist and a three time Woodstock National Slam Team member. His books include First on the Fire (A Gathering of the Tribes) Will Work For Peace (Zeropanik Press) and Disaster Relief (Minimal Press).

He is also a fairly nice person who doesn't need a whole lot of crap from anyone so please do not give him any.

This group was started in August of 1999. In July of 2002 it was converted to a Yahoo Group to make it easier to manage.
