These models are truly "oldies and goodies" and priced reasonably
for quick sale. I would be open to discounting prices for package deals
or on the whole lot. All are mint/nm except the Arab Stallion w/
clean break front leg. I did remove the leg to clean off the old yellowed glue
and lightly attached it again w/ a bit of Elmer's glue
so it wouldn't get lost and can be repaired/restored again. Prices are listed
w/ the photos. Feel free to contact me w/ any questions at:

Happy Holidays to Everyone,

Little-Shoppe's is having a Christmas Sale. The Sale started December 1st and
will go until December 20th.

If you haven't visited Little-Shoppe is a while, now is a perfect time to stop
in. Everything is marked down 10% for Christmas, except the re-issued Maureen
Love horses (and layaway is always available for these pieces).

We have added 10 new "Stocking Stuffers". We have assembled a few darling
little Family Sets that will come in a 2"x2" plastic box, gift wrapped for
Christmas and ready to drop in that Xmas Stocking. They are also included in
the sale - plus all the vintage items I have listed.

I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and the New Year brings you happiness and
prosperity.

Thank you
Gerry

Accepting offers over $425 until Dec 6, 2009 9PM CST. I received this
lovely bisque in today's mail. This is Hilary Hurley's lovely stock horse
Ravenhill in bone china bisque from Horsing Around. He is 7 inches tall. I had
originally planned to china paint this piece and so had ordered it as a
glossy glazed bisque. However the one that arrived is a nekkid bone china
bisque so he can be underglazed. Only 50 of the chinas (including bisques, OF
colors and CG colors) were made and sold out immediately.
He will be shipped in his original foam lined box. Postage will be via
USPS Priority mail with insurance for exact amount. This piece will be a
wonderful addition to the serious collector's showstring for the CG stock horse
class!
I will consider time payments and also consider accepting a china painting
commission on the bisque. I will take photos of the actual bisque this
weekend.

I'm afraid there was never any strategy to my collecting. My collection is all
over the place - horses, unicorns, cats, Tolkien, Clanimalzoo, HR minis,
paperweights...on and on...

My collection for the most part has been a black hole collection, so named by
Tom Bainbridge, as I still have most of my vintage RRH show horses from the 70s
and 80s. Once it comes in, it never goes out.

I would rather buy a really good china than an artist resin. There are a few
resins molds that I would love to buy but the mold has to really talk to me
before it comes into the stable. As far as value, I think the OF chinas just
hold their value better. Resin molds fall out of favor, paint wear, not LSQ,
ect.

I drooled over Melissa Gaulding's CG collection when I saw it in TN last year
but I only have a few of those. I keep hearing SUZE ORMUND yelling at me -
'DENIED - You cannot afford it!' LOL!

burgues figurines - their flowers and bird figurines have better detail compared
to the horse & animal figures they made (IMHO).

I just wanted to jump in and say that I am *very* thankful to
the artists who sell some or all of their work via lottery.

Many times it's the only chance many of us have at great pieces. I
know it's extra work for the artists to manage the lottery entries
when it would be easer just to auction to the highest bidder.

I completely understand that an artist needs to make a living and
that high auction prices put food on the table and killowats to the
kiln *g*. That makes those lotteries a real gift to all of us who
might not be able to place the highest bid at an auction.

Thank You!
Kathy Williams
