This group is part of the Bowes One-Name Study and DNA Project (see links below), the first ever comprehensive study of the Bowes surname and its variants (Bowe, Boe, and so on).

Anyone interested is welcome, whether their family is of English or Irish origin, Norman, Gaelic, Scandinavian and so on. Have fun, as long as you don't step on any toes!
